I find wedding invites to be a great personal branding opportunity. For guests, this is the first taste of the party. It should be able to convey the theme that the couple want to explore during their day and have a personality that fits them like a glove. It can be as quiet or as loud as they want.
This invitation set contains a personal crest, illustrated map of the venue, round sticker and double-sided card with custom calligraphy for names. The starting point was a loosely medieval theme, with Robin Hood touches.
Opening the envelope worked in three steps: removing the seal (sticker), opening the horizontal flaps to reveal the large crest, then opening the vertical flaps to show the card inside. The green map of the Sherwood-like venue fills the inside of the envelope so that all the paper used has a specific purpose.
More prints were created for the wedding, such as order of service, table map, menus, signs, favour bags and thank-you cards. A one-page website was also built to let guests confirm their attendance and add dietary requirements, songs, and discover the couple's story.
