Kiss is a Knife is a rather psychedelic stop-motion animation made for singer songwriter Marcus Foster.
Made only with gouache on paper, this is a project that took months to complete. Some sections of the video were made by taking photographs of a large sheet of paper against a wall while others were made by scanning the painting. Each frame was painted over the previous one, which means that it had to dry before another could be applied on top and the layers can be seen, giving the video a rough finish.
