University of Reading's Careers is one of the many careers services I worked on throughout my agency career. Along with Aston University, there were the most fearless people, ready to surprise and startle their young audience in order to make them stop and act. 
The university needed a highly distinctive identity that would cut through the noise of the other visuals on campus. Research revealed that we had to be softly enticing and tough at the same time in order to get student to move without scaring them. The quirky vintages collages worked perfectly alongside two-worded calls to action, giving visuals some urgency despite their fun personality.
I worked on many levels, developing every illustration. Posters were the essential prints, but banners, leaflets, brochures and postcards were also designed. A series of web banners and a newsletter template were designed to accompany the brand. The popularity of the brand was such that the team purchased animal masks for their launching party, becoming some of the most characteristic characters of the campaign.
This rebrand won a Gold Award at Transform Awards 2017 for Best Visual Identity for Education.
